King of Fling Challenge

Are you ready for a challenge for all families?

Come join the fun! On October 1st we will be hosting our first annual King of Fling. This is a great activity for families and the community to design an ancient engineering device such as a catapult or trebuchet to see who can launch an object the farthest.  This is designed to have fun in engineering and problem solving. Any additional money earned will be put back into the nonprofit to purchase more equipment and materials for future classes. Class Fee $150 for 4 classes occur October 5, 12, 19, 26 from 7:00 - 8:30
This course will have an option to purchase the complete kit if the students would like to keep everything. In this course students will be learning about the basic of coding and prototyping using an Raspberry Pi. Our end goal is to carve and create a pumpkin that moves it jaws back and forth. Can you add sensors? Can you make it howl or growl? Only you can answer that question?
